I have always a tough time selecting my best images of the year. I have images that are more powerful, have more meaning or bring up a strong memory. 2011 was filled with friendship, love and passion.

It's not surprising that my first three images are from my travel to the Spitzbergen Island with my friend Stephane Godin (he's on the third image). The trip itself was not a success (I don't have a single picture of a polar bear), but being with Stephane and seeing this place was worth it.

I took on to rediscover my own town: San Francisco with a serie of night images and I'm very happy with my results. 2011 also mark the start of being a photographer for SRI International and so far I'm loving it (I love the image of Aravind and Charlie the robot). The last images are from my food photography business.
