Spitzbergen Islands 2011
I spent two weeks kayaking and camping in the Spitzbergen Islands
Spitsbergen is the largest and only permanently populated island of the Svalbard archipelago in Norway. It's an artic region known for its polar bears and numerous birds.
During my 14 days, I never saw a polar bear but one did attack a group near where we were.
